ELMOLIGHT Bt was founded in 1998. In addition to the manufacturing of humus moulds, composts and vegetable moulds, our company is engaged in researches and services contributing to soil protection, micro-biological decomposition of organic contaminants that is waste management and waste utilisation and manufacture of products as well.
Our company’s basic activities include the following:
- Micro-biological treatment, utilisation and controlled composting of communal sewage sludge, and obtaining the permission to distribute the composts without restriction;
- Research activities, microbiological developments;
- Distribution of inoculants, humus moulds;
- Elimination of soil contaminated with hydrocarbon, environmental remediation, compilation and execution of damage prevention plan;
- Treatment and utilisation of mycelium sludge residing after fermentation procedure in pharmaceutical factory
Micro-biological treatment, utilisation and controlled composting of communal sewage sludge
For the present, sewage sludge is utilised to the minimum extent by agriculture and its disposal usually means trouble and cost for service providers. As a matter of fact, by applying an appropriate technology the sewage sludge free of industrial contaminants can be excellently used for the nutrient supply of agricultural areas so they may result in sales revenue, instead of cost.
The Elmolight controlled composting technology will provide a complex solution since it will not only neutralize and process the communal sludge but offer a new direction and solution for the lacks of nutrient and dependence on fertilizers occurring more and more forcefully in agriculture. Through the procedure, such high-quality compost marketable without any restriction as a product can be manufactured which in addition to the soil regeneration will offer a solution for the diseases resulting from lack of micro elements so will be quite valuable for the agriculture
Handling of dangerous waste containing oil
The technology is based on the principle that there are such microorganisms which can utilize hydro-carbons (TPH, PAH, benz-a-piren, B-tex, etc.) as alternative sources of carbon for their vital functions.
During the decomposition process, the microorganisms will decompose the longer carbon chain aliphatic and aromatic hydrocarbons to simpler compounds (e.g. organic acids), with CO2, water and heat being released. After that, in the second phase of the process humus molecules of more complicated structure will be produced through polymerization and condensation.
This process can be made controlled and quicker by adding inoculants consisting of specific hydrocarbon decomposing microorganism strains and proper auxiliary substrate.
Treatment and utilisation of mycelium sludge residing after fermentation procedure in pharmaceutical factory
As the result of our research work, we have developed starter cultures, by the application of which – providing the technology-controlled living conditions – it is possible to compost biomasses of different origin in a fast and efficient way, soil polluting hazardous waste can be efficiently broken down: hydrocarbon derivatives, animal and vegetable fats, oils and pharmaceutical organic hazardous waste, too.
